Adaptations : Check bones and thermometer fish endpoint rather than relying on the ten-minute printed total. Limites : Edible fish recovery and butter/parsley coverage unmeasured.
Method
Steps
Step 1
Make No7 ONCE from its printed butter, chopped parsley AND chervil, fresh lemon juice, salt and white pepper: soften/mash, mix thoroughly, chill and measure only a SMALL FINISHED aliquot for this pickerel. Do not add Worcestershire. Use the listed exact No7 inputs once; the measured small finished aliquot is not an additional purchase.
Step 2
Remove pickerel head/fins, split along back and remove spine and stray pin bones; note actual recovered edible fish. Turn repeatedly in tablespoon oil with tsp salt/half tsp pepper.
Step 3
Broil five-minute historical guide each side until a thermometer-confirmed centre of at least 70°C in the thickest fish, extending the existing broil if needed. Transfer hot, spread a recorded SMALL aliquot of FINISHED No7 butter, decorate with recorded parsley and serve.
