Method

Steps

  1. Step 1

Make No1229 ONCE: dissolve half-pound sugar in quart lukewarm water, add juice of two lemons/two oranges and rind of ONE juiced orange, mix five-minute guide and strain. Freeze in a documented food-safe ice/salt process for 35-minute historical guide or until actually frozen; measure FINISHED punch for six glasses. The rind is allocated from ONE of the SAME two oranges already listed; do not buy a third orange.

  2. Step 2

Sieve half-pint preserved strawberries; record recovered purée and add to a measured FINISHED No1229 orange-punch batch with two tablespoons rum. Mix evenly.

  3. Step 3

Divide actual punch into SIX sherbet glasses and serve chilled; do not infer a full six-glass volume from the half-pint strawberry input.
