English Hot Chocolate Bread Pudding
Warm baked chocolate, bread and six-egg pudding with a light whipped-white interior.

Step 1
Heat oven to 190 °C and butter a 20 cm baking dish. Soak crumbs in milk, press out surplus and fluff. Melt chocolate gently and cool slightly.
Step 2
Cream butter with sugar, mix in yolks, chocolate, pressed crumbs and vanilla. Whip whites stiff and fold in; transfer to dish.
Step 3
Bake about 30–40 minutes until browned and centre reaches 74 °C. Serve at once while warm and light.
