Baked Kippered Herrings on Toast
Three warm kippered herrings baked with butter, served on toast with lemon quarters.

Steps
Step 1
Use three whole, split, ready-to-cook kippered herrings.
Step 2
Lightly butter a baking tin, lay the three fish on it and put a few little bits of butter over each.
Step 3
Set in a hot oven according to the product directions for about ten minutes.
Step 4
Continue cooking until the thickest part of the fish reaches 70°C.
Step 5
Remove and arrange the three hot fish over plain toast on a hot dish.
Step 6
Spread a little additional melted butter over and serve with lemon quarters alongside.
